Construction: ARTBA Insurance Program for Contractors
The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) is America’s largest and most respected national transportation construction trade association. ARTBA is a federation whose primary goal is to aggressively grow and protect transportation infrastructure investment to meet the public and business demand for safe and efficient travel. In support of this mission, ARTBA also provides programs and services designed to give its 6,500+ public and private sector members a global competitive edge. Their purpose is to build and protect the U.S. transportation construction market through education, networking and advocating for the industry on an environmental, legal and regulatory platform.
For the past five years, McKee Risk Management, Inc. has partnered with ARTBA to provide transportation infrastructure contractors with innovative, competitive insurance programs. McKee Construction is the only insurance underwriting program endorsed by ARTBA. McKee works exclusively with Independent Insurance Agents to place the most appropriate property and casualty insurance coverages with “A” rated insurance carrier partners.
During McKee’s 20-year history, the Construction Underwriting Team has developed a solid understanding of the risks that ARTBA members continually face. McKee also recognizes current issues confronting the industry today, such as Autonomous Vehicles in a work zone and the aging contractor work force.
Subject to standard underwriting guidelines, the available coverages through McKee’s ARTBA-endorsed program include Commercial Automobile, General Liability, Inland Marine, Property, Umbrella Liability and Workers Compensation.
