Insuring construction operations can be extremely complex, and our book includes a wide variety of contracting operations. A unique aspect of underwriting this type of business is the need to understand contractual risk transfer and the myriad of regulatory requirements and exposures. The McKee team includes highly experienced claims, underwriting and risk control staff who will work closely with our insureds to support their needs. Our risk control staff will consult with insureds both on jobsites and at their headquarters, with a focus on training, exposure control and compliance. Industry focused claims staff will aid in reviewing contractual risk transfer, and, in the event of a claim, quickly work to resolve and minimize loss. McKee underwriters work with producers and insureds to build appropriate and robust insurance programs. We are very proud of our exclusive agreement as the Insurance Program Manager with the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA).
